Welcome! This will be my personal blog where I share writeups and technical stuff. I love reverse engineering, playing CTF and Nintendo games, so my articles will most likely cover one of these topics.
For this first article, let me share one of my favorite YouTube channels. LiveOverflow has videos about almost everything that is related to hacking, including detailed walkthroughs, Minecraft videos and pentesting stories.
Another resource that I like is The Jargon File, which perfectly describes the hacker culture with humorous explanations. It is also a very useful resource if you are into history. Did you know that the X window system was preceded by an earlier window system called W?
I love playing CTF! Nowadays, it's possible to play a different CTF literally every weekend. It can be a bit tough to find a team if you are new to CTF. Luckily, it's also possible to practice alone, and there are even some CTFs where teams are not allowed. 404 CTF is one of my favorites. And if you live in Europe and are under 25 I would absolutely recommend trying to participate in ECSC.
I've never written a blog before, so let's see how this is going to work out 🙂.
